About Us
The owners of Rocky Mountain Scatterings are Ralph and Linda Beck of Lakewood, Colorado. Avid hikers, bicycle enthusiasts and nature lovers, Ralph and Linda have lived in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains for fifteen years.
A career educator and ordained Christian minister, Ralph was employed in full-time ministry for twenty-four years. During that era, and beyond, he performed scores of funeral services and counseled countless bereaved family members and loved ones.
Linda, also a career educator, currently supervises student teachers for Metro State University in Denver, Colorado.
Ralph and Linda’s interest in thoughtfully and tastefully done “scatterings” came about largely as the result of concerns related to the increasing consumption of open lands necessary for burials and high burial costs often required of bereaved families.
The Becks treat with dignity and respect the scatterings of the cremated remains of all deceased individuals—irrespective of race, creed or religious affiliation. No questions regarding such matters are asked.
Ralph and Linda are the proud parents of two grown children and an English Springer Spaniel, Isabelle.
